Wessex Chambers working with National and Local Government

Wessex Chambers of Commerce has expertise as a delivery partner for national and local Government programmes supporting SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises). Examples include acting as the lead delivery partner for the Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub, a local authority funded contract to support start-up and established businesses, a contract to support rural businesses and military leavers through the Rural Growth Network and European Structural Investment Fund programmes.

Wessex Chambers is keen to work with organisations who are funding programmes of support aimed at SMEs and can be an excellent distribution partner to bring these to market through our extensive network of over 3000 businesses. References are available upon request. We are always enthusiastic about supporting SMEs through such programmes and ensuring they are aware of and have access to any funded help which is available.

Publicly funded business support for SME’s across the South West

Publicly funded business support is available to SME’s across the South West. It comprises a mix of local authority, central Government and European funding.

Some services are fully funded, meaning that the cost of these services is fully covered by public funding and other services are subsidised by public funding but require some level of business contribution.

All services are provided at well below their true cost due to this valuable financial support from the public sector.
